Why Schaumburg is a Great Place to Study Photography
Schaumburg, Illinois, may not sound like the media and photography capital of the Midwest, and it's not. What it is, though, is one of the most convenient and the largest suburban town outside of the media capital of the Midwest—Chicago. Yes, Schaumburg offers some small-town opportunities for photographers, such as local newspaper and intimate art schools, but the real-deal opportunities are found to the east in the Windy City, home of the Tribune, Crain Communications, and other massive media operations.
