Schaumburg students pursuing a doctor of veterinary medicine degree may choose from two regional universities with colleges of veterinary medicine: The University of Wisconsin, Madison, and the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. The nearer of the two, in Wisconsin, offers graduate degrees in Animal Health and Biomedical Science in addition to the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree. The University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine features academic programs in Veterinary Biosciences, Clinical Medicine, Pathobiology, and Veterinary Diagnostics.
